In the first outing of the Radio Juan Sessions, we were invited round for breakfast by Alistair Mackenzie. In his kitchen, over cereal and an ace cup of coffee, he talked us through his musical journey, his sound and his influences. He even had time to play us some of his music. With breathtaking vocals and mesmerising guitar skills, live from the kitchen, he played the beautiful "Fire" and the enchanting "Afraid of the Dark". He even found time for a mind-blowing cover of one of his favourite songs of all time - Bruce Springsteen's "Atlantic City". Massive thanks to Al for his hospitality, his enthusiasm and his exceptional talent for making the inaugural Radio Juan Sessions enjoyable and exciting. Enjoy.
